Race Day Schedule: 
8:00 a.m. - REGISTRATION OPENS - Coffee & Snacks
8:15 a.m. - Remembrance Project
8:30 a.m. - Yoga in the Cafeteria - Zumbini outside (weather permitting) 
8:59 a.m. - Moment of Silence
9:00 a.m. - Run/Walk Begins
9:45 a.m. - Post-Run Entertainment - DC Lab Breakdance Performance + more
10:00 a.m. - Post-Run RAFFLE of sponsor donated items
10:30 a.m. - CLOSING BELL

Bib PickUp/Day of Registration:
Bib PickUp begins at 8:00 a.m. We encourage all participants to arrive early to beat the rush and so you can be at the start line by 9:00 a.m.

Parking*** IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Parking is available in the East Silver Spring Elementary School parking lot and in the neighborhood. This year a neighborhood church is expecting larger than normal crowds for their 8am and 10am services. We encourage you to allow extra time and be prepared use street parking.  We also encourage you to be extra careful before, during and after the run due to increased traffic flow.

Weather/Cancellation Policy: 
Pray for sun and plan for rain! The current forecast is calling for some precipitation . The run will be rain or shine. We will communicate any changes via email.

Yoga & Zumba - Warming Up for the run
Come warm up before you run or walk! Yoga by UP Wellness instructor Lisa Glassman in the cafeteria starting at 8:30. Weather depending, Amanda from Bouncing Bambini will lead a Zumba class outside starting at 8:30. You don't want miss these excellent instructors!

Snacks and Coffee:
We will have pre and post race snacks thanks to generosity of Corcoran Caterers. Coffee from Bump n Grind will be available as well. We will also have our famous hot chocolate station along the course at the parking lot off Dale and Hartford Ave.

Race Start, Course and Safety:
The Run and Walk start at 9am. No roads will be closed for the event, but police officers will be present at the 4 major street crossings. Please be cognizant of your surroundings and look out for fellow participants. With the likelihood of increased traffic due to the event at the church, be mindful of cars close to the school.

Art/Remembrance Project:
Each year we do an Art Remembrance project. This year you’ll be able to create your own heart-shaped sun-catchers as a token of remembrance.

Post-Run Entertainment:
After the run as people gather in the gym, entertainment will be provided by the Lab DC around 945am. This is a highlight not to be missed for those who have witnessed it in the past.

Post-Run Raffle
Each year we raffle off prizes from our many sponsors. Each registrant receives one ticket; additional tickets can be purchased. To enter, simply place your ticket in the prize's jar - increase your chances of winning by places multiple tickets in each jar, hopefully we pick yours!

It's hard to believe this is the 4th annual Leo’s Run - it would not be possible without our sponsors, the Leo's Run planning team, gracious volunteers and the members of our community. Thank you to this special collective.
